Marc Giese is taking over the position of general manager at
PRIVA Building Intelligence GmbH, an organization which is
specialized in building automation, with immediate effect. In this
function he will manage the business of Priva B.V. in the
German-speaking countries. The previous general manager Wolfgang
Mielke is going into retirement after more than 13 years in this
position.
Marc Giese, who is a degreed engineer, has gathered extensive
senior-management experience during his work in the instruments-,
investment goods- and electrical engineering sector. He has
previously worked as general manager for international
organizations such as Kennametal Hertel Gruppe, Körber Gruppe and
MTS Systems Inc. Giese was born in the Netherlands but lives in
Germany since many years. This makes him a strong link between the
German office and the Dutch parent company in de Lier.
The continuity towards the clients is guaranteed: Marc Giese has
worked together with his predecessor Wolfgang Mielke since November
2011. This way the transition phase regarding all ongoing processes
is expected to proceed very well. Mielke will continue to be
available to the organization as an advisor for the coming
year.
Giese completely supports the basic principles of the Priva
organization: Sustainable growth with respect for societal

respectfully with scarce resources. After all, building automation
is an important foundation for the achievement of sustainability
goals. At the same time it raises customer satisfaction and their

Further development of the organization in other countries,

enlarging the market share are the challenges that lie ahead. Marc
Giese judges the products that are to be introduced in the year
2012 as especially marketable and is therefore looking forward to a
successful start with the PRIVA-team.
